I would welcome the opportunity to connect with you, answer questions about our programs, and discuss how ECS can support your patients, clients, and organization. Contact me to schedule a tour of our center, attend an alumni meeting, learn more about our services, and explore partnership opportunities.

Learn about our mission, treatment philosophy, insurance coverage, and referral process — all in one page. Print or share digitally with clients and colleagues.

ECS offers educational in-services for case management teams, clinical staff, discharge planners, healthcare organizations, and community partners.

We invite referral partners to see our program firsthand and build lasting connections with our team.

Is your organization hosting a resource fair, educational event, staff training, conference, or community outreach program? Invite ECS to participate.
Existential Therapy is a humanistic-experiential psychotherapy approach that addresses the underlying existential concerns often associated with substance use disorders, including identity disturbance, meaninglessness, diminished self-worth, chronic shame, isolation, and impaired autonomy.
Drawing from existential psychology, this therapeutic modality helps clients examine their relationship with freedom, personal responsibility, mortality, purpose, and self-definition.
In addiction treatment, existential interventions focus on increasing self-awareness, strengthening self-concept, enhancing psychological flexibility, and fostering authentic living aligned with personally meaningful values. Clients are encouraged to explore maladaptive coping patterns, confront existential anxiety, develop a greater sense of agency, and cultivate a life characterized by purpose, connection, and self-transcendence.
Rather than viewing recovery solely as abstinence from substances, existential therapy conceptualizes recovery as the ongoing process of creating meaning, embracing responsibility, and actualizing one’s potential through intentional and value-driven living.
